- Membicarakan sebuah kegiatan yang telah dimulai di masa lalu dan masih berlanjut sampai sekarang atau telah selesai pada suatu titik waktu tertentu di masa lalu namun efeknya masih berlanjut.
- Formula: I/They/We/You + have + V3 + O atau He/She/It + has + V3 + O
- Formula interrogative : Have / Has + S + V3 + O?
- Keterangan waktu yang sering digunakan: for (keterangan waktu yang menunjukkan masa lalu hingga sekarang) & since (keterangan waktu yang menujukkan pertama kali kejadian atau kegiatan dimulai) , yet, already, just, ever, never, recently, lately
